Troubled soul singer Amy Winehouse has reason to celebrate today: she received a whopping six Grammy nominations this morning, including best new artist and album of the year, for Back to Black. The British singer, who checked herself in and out of rehab in August, also picked up nods for Song of the Year and Record of the Year for her hit single "Rehab." Even with six nominations, Amy wasn't the top Grammy contender. She was beaten out by Kanye West, who received eight nominations, including album of the year for his Graduation. His mother, who tragically died last month, would be proud. Meanwhile, the Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and T-Pain also came away with five nominations each.
