All the winners of the show get a modeling contact, a cover spread in a fashion magazine, and prize money. Unfortunately, not all winners go on to achieve Gigi Hadid-level fame. Some have stopped modeling completely, while others have switched from modeling to acting, appearing in small roles in film and TV. But surprisingly, the majority of the winners from the show have simply gone back to their regular lives. That's what happened to season one winner Adrianne Curry.
“Tyra [Banks] really didn't help us out and the show didn't put any money into us," she revealed in 2007. "We trusted Tyra, but we've all been screwed over.”

The first winner of the series, Adrianne went on to have more success in the reality TV world than the modeling world. After appearing on The Surreal Life and My Fair Brady, she went on to become a self-proclaimed "mistress of the dorks" by cosplaying at nerd conventions like Comic Con. However, since 2016, Adrianne has relocated to Arizona to live a quieter life with boyfriend Matthew Rhode. She now runs a lifestyle blog and is active on Twitter.
