Mommy-shamers beware! When it comes to Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood, don’t even think about dissing her skills as a mother, unless, of course, you want her to come after you on Twitter! After a heated social media feud with her ex and baby daddy, Gary Shirley — during which he retweeted a message saying Amber was a “disgrace to all moms out there” — the soon-to-be mother-of-two took to Twitter to defend herself. “Some of you are absolutely horrible people!” the 27-year-old tweeted on Tuesday, Jan. 16. “I was in boot camp for 3 weeks during [Leah’s] summer break making more money than some of you s–t talkers dream of!! My kid has college funds because of me! F–k off lol.” Fans were quick to respond to Amber’s aggressive post. “At the end of her life, she’ll remember the time you spent with her, not the money you spent on her,” one person quipped. Another simply added, “Presence > presents.”

But some followers jumped to Amber’s defense, noting her past struggles with both mental health issues and substance abuse. “You guys know it’s not just depression right??” one fan asked. “She has bipolar and a personality disorder. She is doing her best and loves Leah which is the main thing.”

We’re sure Amber, who’s expecting a baby boy with boyfriend Andrew Glennon, is trying her best to stay positive these days. Though they’d only been seeing each other for a short time before she got pregnant, from the sound of her Instagram announcement, she couldn’t be happier about this next step in her life. “I’m very excited for my future with Andrew and our little family we are starting together! Love always,” she said.

The pair met while on the set of Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars: Family Edition, where she was supposed to be working on her relationship with ex-fiancé Matt Baier. Instead, Amber met and fell for Andrew, who worked as a producer on the WE tv show.
