Abby Lee Miller is known for being hard on her young dancers on Dance Moms — but now, one of the girls’ managers is saying the situation is even worse than fans may realize!
In a new interview, Nia Sioux’s manager, Lesley Brander, said the 49-year-old “neglects” the teen stars.

“We didn’t see Abby clapping after she won, we didn’t see Abby congratulating Nia,” Lesley told Radar. “You have to wait for the next episode to see who is on the top of the pyramid.”
Lesley added that the lack of positive reinforcement comes across as negligent.

“Breaking someone down isn’t the best way for them to grown,” she explained. “It breathes insecurities. Some I saw in Nia. You get so beaten down you accept that. You blend into the background because you don’t want to be noticed and beaten down. If you continue to be in the background, that’s how you’ll be seen.”
