In November, Tamar Braxton was forced to withdraw from Dancing With the Stars due to pulmonary embolisms (blood clots on her lungs). Now Tamar talks to In Touch about how her health scare forced her to reassess her priorities.

“I could’ve died,” Tamar says. “I’m just now feeling back to the old Tay, finally.”

Something that she is looking forward to after her scary diagnosis is the possibility of having more children (she already has one son, Logan, 2). “If you asked me before I got sick, I probably would’ve said no. But now I would love to have more kids. I just have to get 100 percent healthy first.”

Tamar adds the experience has taught her she has to listen to her body, “When I’m exhausted, it’s time to ‘chillax.’ If things get overwhelming, I don’t feel bad about telling people that.”

As far as coming back to Dancing With the Stars? “I don’t know,” Tamar says. “I have self-esteem issues from being bullied in school, and when you work hard on a dance the last thing you should hear is criticism. I love the show, but I don’t think I can do it again.”

But for now, Tamar reveals, “I feel amazing,” and says she is “blessed beyond measure.”
