We were first introduced to Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé, and although that wasn’t too long ago, fans are already wondering if they’re still together. Spoiler alert: They are!

According to TLC, the good-looking couple met “when Chantel’s former Spanish teacher introduced her to Pedro via Facebook to help her learn the language.” They quickly fell in love, and he moved to the US to be with her. As rom-com as that sounds, their relationship had a rocky start. Chantel initially hoped to keep their engagement a secret and they argued over finances — Pedro wanted to send money they earned to family he had in his native Dominican Republic.

As a result, many fans have questioned Pedro’s intentions and there’s even a theory going around on Twitter that their relationship is made up. Since Chantel wants to get into acting, fans believe that Pedro is just along for the ride — and a green card. Plus, Chantel’s name is listed as CeAir C. Wylie-Everett on Facebook, so people have a lot of questions. One fan tweeted, “Oh hayyyyy ‘Chantel’ and ‘Pedro’! What else besides their names is a total lie?”

Today, however, the two appear to be proving the haters wrong. According to Pedro’s Facebook, he studied at the Technological Institute of Las Americas (ITLA) and currently lives in Atlanta — which is where Chantel lives. In addition, _Empty Lighthouse _ reported that Chantel and Pedro are planning a second wedding in the Dominican Republic this year in order to help bring their families closer together. (Pedro’s mother felt Chantel’s family looked down on him, while Chantel’s family felt Pedro wasn’t in it for the right reasons). Only time will tell whether or not this works out! In the meantime, they seem happy —er, at least on social media.
