We just don’t think she’s going to let this one go.
The name Spencer Lacey Ganus may not ring a bell, but we bet you’ve heard her voice — as she lent her pipes to Frozen, the most successful animated film of all time.
The 15-year-old was paid a measly $926.20 to voice teenage Elsa — and only had a few lines in the flick that went on to gross $400 million at the domestic box office alone.
And now she’s headed to court, TMZ reports. Unfortunately, she’s not the first actor/actress to take a small paycheck only to see the project become a commercial success! Check out seven other stars Spencer can invite to her pity party.
Chris Evans made $2 million to play Captain America in The Avengers — which isn’t exactly pocket change. Unless you put it into context: His co-star Robert Downey Jr. took home $50 million for the movie, which went on to be the third highest-grossing flick of all time (it’s made $1.5 billion to date). Luckily, Iron Man himself stepped up to the plate and helped fight for a raise for his costars when it came time for The Avengers 2.
