There’s a new girl in town — and she’s ready to take over!

ICYMI, Chanel West Coast has joined the cast of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood for its upcoming fourth season and TBH, we can’t think of a more perfect addition to the show.

The “Been On” rapper, 28, spoke exclusively with In Touch about her new gig and revealed why she is thrilled to be a part of VH1’s hit reality series.

While Chanel has been on TV for years — she’s starred on several seasons of MTV’s Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory and Ridiculousness — there are sides of the blonde beauty we haven’t yet seen. According to Chanel, she can’t wait to let fans in on her personal life, as well as her music career.

“It’s really cool to finally be on a show where I’m able to show more of my life and who I really am as a person. I’ve been on TV for years, but I’ve always been kind of a side character. And it hasn’t really shown my music at all. And being a part of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood — I’m showcasing my music and I am so excited about that,” she told In Touch. “So you’re just going to see a lot of my hip-hop and maybe a little bit of drama, too.”

Though she can’t give away too much, Chanel — who was introduced to the LHHH crew through her close pal Nikki Mudarris — did tease some potential beef between herself and fellow female emcee Nicki Minaj.

Asked if she’d ever want to collaborate with Her Minajesty, 34 — who does not appear on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood — Chanel suggested that she and the “Starships” singer have butted heads before.

“In the past, I would have said yes. I don’t know how much she wants to collaborate with me,” the LA native — who was signed to Nicki’s mentor Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment label in 2012 — said with a laugh. “But yeah, I’ve always been a fan of her music. I think it’s dope. If she wanted to collaborate with me, then sure.”

Pressed further about a possible feud with Nicki, Chanel told us, “You know, I’m not going to say anything about that, but you should watch Love & Hip Hop!”

While a collab with Nicki might be out of the question, Chanel would love to team up with R&B powerhouse Keyshia Cole — who has also signed on to LHHH Season 4.

“I’ve been a fan of hers forever and now I’m on Love & Hip Hop with her and we actually just filmed together for Ridiculousness recently,” the social media maven — who boasts three million Instagram followers — raved to In Touch. “So we kind of hung out and kind of became friends there. [Doing a song together] would be so dope.”

Dope, indeed. Catch Chanel on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood when it returns to VH1 for a fourth season on Monday, July 24, at 8 p.m. ET.
