Just hours after ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ star Sawyer Sweeten committed suicide, his older sister, Madylin, took to Facebook to share a heartbreaking message.

The 23-year-old wrote, “At this time I would like to encourage everyone to reach out to the ones you love. Let them have no doubt of what they mean to you.”

Madylin, Sawyer and the 19-year-old’s identical twin brother, Sullivan, played Ray Romano’s on-screen children in ‘Everybody Loves Raymond,’ which ran from 1996 to 2005.

Many of the late young actor’s costars, including his television parents, expressed their grief and sent their condolences to the Sweeten family.

“He was a wonderful and sweet kid to be around,” Ray Romano said in a statement. “Just a great energy whenever he was there. My heart breaks for him, his family and his friends during this very difficult time.”

Patricia Heaton tweeted, “Sawyer Sweeten was a funny and exceptionally bright young man. He is gone from us far too soon.”

His onscreen grandma, Doris Roberts, also wrote a touching tribute to the late teenager on Facebook.

She wrote, “He was a very sweet young man who will be dearly missed. Make sure your loved ones know how much you care about them, and please check in with them if you haven’t touched base with them for a while. It’s very important to keep in touch.”
