Joy-Anna Duggar Opens up About Not Liking Now-Hubby Austin Forsyth at First
Well, this is pretty surprising, to say the least! It looks like Counting On star Joy-Anna Duggar had some choice words for her now-hubby Austin Forsyth. In the most recent episode of the show, which has yet to cover her May 26 wedding, Joy talks about first meeting the love of her life. And, let’s just say she didn’t quite say what we were expecting to hear! Watch the video below to see what Joy had to say about her man!
Of course, now that the duo is expecting their first child together, a lot has changed! It was later in that same episode that Joy called her man her “best friend” and totally couldn’t stop gushing about their relationship. “I love that he balances me out in so many ways,” Joy said. “He has a very adventurous spirit, which pulls me out of my box a little bit.”
Though the couple is totally in love, they have caused a little controversy recently when fans speculated that they had premarital sex — something strictly against the Duggar rules. “She looks way more than three months in this picture at least we now know why they pushed the wedding forward,” once commenter wrote on a pic of Joy’s baby bump. Another speculated, “She was pregnant at the wedding. No way that’s a three-month belly. Explains the rush wedding.”
Joy and Austin quickly shut down those rumors, though. In a post on the couple’s joint Instagram, they hinted at the baby’s due date. "Can't wait to meet our baby!!" wrote Joy. "I got to feel it kick for the first time a few days ago!!! Soooooo amazing!!! It's already about the size of a bell pepper and weighs around half a pound!!! #childrenareagiftfromGod #westandforlife." According to Baby Center, a fetus would be bell pepper-sized at around 18 weeks making the due date in February. This, of course, means that the little one was conceived shortly after they tied the knot.
