Though Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have made the decision to not reprise their role as Michelle Tanner in the Full House reboot, Fuller House — rumors of their little sister Elizabeth Olsen tackling the fan-favorite character in season 2 have been circulating after John Stamos and the show’s creator Jeff Franklin both insisted that she had been asked to reprise her sisters’ role.

The actress, 27, addressed the rumors at the premiere of her film I Saw the Light, telling E! News, “If I did [get an offer to join], I’m pretty sure no one on my team heard it,” adding, “I don’t know where that started.”

Back in January, John — who played Uncle Jesse — revealed he and Jeff called Elizabeth’s agent to ask her to consider playing the iconic role made famous by her sisters.

“We talked to her agent and her agent was like, ‘Come on, she’s not going to do that,’ but we did call her agent,” he said.

So — it seems the A-list starlet is not ready to fill Miss Tanner’s shoes. But, will the Olsen twins finally agree to make a short cameo in season 2?

As In Touch previously reported, John hinted that the twins may reprise their role after they initially declined the offer to appear in season 1 of the Netflix show.

“I was going to see Ashley last night and beg her to be on the show. We would love to have them. I know everyone would love to see them. I have a good feeling about it,” he said.

Well — we hope Uncle Jesse can convince our favorite ~munchkins~ to return!
