This year's star-studded amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France this past week, raised more than $35 million to help find a cure for AIDS.

Among guests, which included John Travolta, Jessica Chastain, Rosario Dawson and model Karolina Kurkova, was a very dapper Justin Bieber, who reportedly dropped $54K for the cause.

Highlights of the evening's auction hosted by Harvey Weinstein, included a 1967 Andy Warhol painting of Marilyn Monroe, a Picasso from 1968 and a special piece by Damien Hirst featuring a 10,000-year mammoth fossil in steel that went for a record $15 million.

In addition to the various works of art up for auction, Leonardo DiCaprio offered up a trip on Virgin Galactic’s SpaceshipTwo, which takes real people more than 76 miles about Earth's surface. The bidder, who has not been revealed, paid $1 million for the once-in-a-lifetime trip and joins the likes of real estate mogul Vasily Klyukin, who paid $1.5 million last year for the same trip with DiCaprio.

During the evening of huge pledges, one man reportedly offered up $54K, which Bieber decided to match on the spot. Guests were said to be shocked by the generous offer, but the 20-year-old singer said that he was inspired to do something good.

Bieber, who showed up to the event in a sharp Dolce & Gabbana suit, posted images of his attire, commenting, "Suit game strong" in regards to his designer duds.

The evening also featured performances by Robin Thicke, Lana Del Rey, Aloe Blacc, and Andrea Bocelli.
