First Taylor Swift announces new music and now JAY-Z and Justin Timberlake are reportedly in talks to perform during the Super Bowl LII (52) Halftime Show?! Best. Week. Ever.

According to PerezHilton.com, Hova and JT may possibly take the stage together in Minneapolis on Feb. 4; however, nothing is confirmed — yet! But we can’t help but think that this would be perfect timing for the mega artists. Jay just dropped his 4:44 album earlier this year and Justin is said to be releasing his own album next year.

In an interview with Billboard in 2013, Justin explained that he and Jay initially collaborated while he and producer Timbaland were working on Beyoncé’s album. “I was with Tim and we were working on stuff for Miss Beyoncé,” he said. “And she made the mistake of letting Jay and I have another room at the studio. Actually, I don’t want to give too much away, but we’ve done a lot of songs together. So hopefully those will find a way to see the light of day.” These “songs” that he’s referring to were most likely hits ‘Suit & Tie’ and ‘Holy Grail,’ which dropped that same year.

Although we’re still waiting for confirmation, one thing’s for sure — most people will be tuning in for the halftime show (and the epic commercials). Apologies in advance to the teams who make it to the Super Bowl. We can’t wait for the c̶o̶n̶c̶e̶r̶t̶ game!
