Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham is no stranger to trouble, but the 21-year old insists her poor choices— even her DUI arrest on March 18— have no effect on her parenting.

“I am one of the best single mothers you will ever meet,” Farrah exclusively tells In Touch about her life with 4-year-old daughter, Sophia. “If someone thinks I’m a bad mother that is their own opinion. I know I’m an amazing mother and my daughter has a safe and nurturing environment.”
Thankfully, Sophia was not in the car with the Teen Mom during the time of her recent arrest, in which Farrah failed a field sobriety test and a Breathalyzer.
“My daughter is never with me when I am intoxicated,” Farrah tells the mag. “I don’t believe that is ever okay for a parent to do.”
So how do Farrah’s parents feel about her DUI?
“My parents know I’m responsible and know I do not like wasting my time out drinking,” she says. “I am 21, responsible, independent, hard working, educated and successful. I do regret loosing time with my daughter, but unfortunately, I was in a bad situation that will never happen ever again in my future.”
Do you think Farrah’s recent trouble with the law is a reflection of her parenting? For more on Farrah’s arrest, pick up the latest issue of In Touch— on newsstands now.
