The truth about Angelina Jolie‘s deceptive tactics amid her and Brad Pitt‘s divorce have been revealed.

Following an investigation launched by In Touch, Angelina and her legal team attempted to destroy Brad’s reputation as a father in order to win sole custody of their six children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.

“People close to Angelina have told cruel lies about Brad, and they’ve done it with her consent,” an insider told In Touch exclusively. “While she has publicly remained silent, people close to her have been busy trying to shape a narrative, painting Brad as an unfit parent.”

Shortly after the couple’s divorce was revealed to the public, information was revealed to the media about the actor being “verbally abusive” to his children, in addition to a confrontation between Brad and Maddox during a flight to LA. Further, Brad was accused of abusing drugs and alcohol, which In Touch later found as false.

“A look deep inside Angelina’s camp shows a disturbing pattern of behavior,” the insider continued. “Her first two advisors were planting stories with the media that Brad had a severe drug and alcohol problem and was violent. It was an abhorrent course of action.”

The 52-year-old has chosen to ignore the claims, and even took a voluntary drug test during his investigation with DCFS to prove his innocence. Results later showed he passed the test.

“He was devastated by her power play at first, but he truly believes that once the DCFS investigation is concluded, family court will side with him,” the insider said. “He’s ready for her. He believes he’ll be able to refute all her claims in front of a judge.”
