Who is Jacob Wilson?
Jacob Wilson is an EMT and a musician, as he says on social media. According to Inquisitr, his father is Clark Wilson, a carpenter and close friend of the Duggars. (He even helped build the Duggars’ house, apparently!)
Once the Internet spotted group photos that included both Jacob and Jana, the courtship rumors started flying. On Sept. 27, however, he responded to the speculation on Instagram. (Sorry in advance, shippers.)
“So yeah, I just wanna say that this is total bunk. WE ARE NOT IN A RELATIONSHIP,” he wrote. “LOL, we’ve been friends for 21 years and all of a sudden! BAM! We just happen to be in the same picture, so of course the media has to make up a story about it to sell. So I’m here to clear the water… It ain’t true! Moral of the story? Don’t believe what you see online.”
Where is Jacob Wilson from?
According to his Facebook profile, Jacob is from Magnolia, MS, but lives in Burleson, TX. That’s a six-hour drive from the Duggars’ home in Tontitown, AR, so any relationship between him and Jana would have to be long-distance!
How old is Jacob Wilson?
Jacob’s age isn’t readily accessible online, but in one Facebook post, he describes being “saved” at 10 years old and spending the next 11 or 12 years struggling with his faith before a change of heart in the past year or so, so we assume he’s around 23 years old. (For the record, Jana is 27!)
