Tish Cyrus Will Help Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Plan Their Wedding “If” They Get Married

When it comes to Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth getting married, her mother, Tish Cyrus, isn't holding her breath until the wedding date.

In a new interview, Mrs. Billy Ray Cyrus hinted that their nuptials aren't on the horizon just yet — but she will be involved in the planning process when it's time!

"Well if that day ever came then of course. I'm her mom," Tish told Hollywood Life about helping her daughter and future son-in-law.

However, she did admit the mother-daughter duo could clash when it comes to ideas for the big day.

“It’s tough. I think Miley would be the first to say it, I’ve heard her say it to so many people now that she is older, ‘My mom is not a ‘yes’ person. My mom is not going to tell me what I want to hear,'” Tish continued. “You should always be the one who is honest and most of the time, in the beginning, they don’t want to hear it and they don’t like it — but as their mom, knowing that what I want for them is the best for them, I think they realize that every decision that I ever made was out of love and wanting them to be the best they can be.”

Miley and Liam reconnected at the end of 2015 after calling off their engagement two years prior. They seem to take a more private approach to their relationship this time around.
