Jenelle Evans Opens up About Custody Battle Over Her Son Jace: “It’s Only Getting Worse”

The only thing Jenelle Evans wants is to have Jace back.

The Teen Mom 2 star reached her breaking point in her custody battle with her mother Barbara Evans over her seven-year-old son. The mother-and-daughter duo got into heated argument during this week’s episode of the hit MTV reality series — and Jenelle vented about it on Twitter.

“My mother is ruining our relationship as mother and daughter. It’s only getting worse,” the 25-year-old wrote.

During the episode, Jenelle got into a screaming match with her mom over the phone — in front of Jace and her two-year-old son Kaiser — over where they would meet to transfer her son. But Jenelle was still in a bad mood when they met at the drop-off, and she said she didn’t want to give her mother any camera time because she believed that is why she’s keeping Jace from her. When Barbara approached Jenelle’s car to tell her about a fundraiser that Jace is having at school, her daughter flipped out at her and ripped the cameras off of her dashboard.

“I don’t care, I don’t want to film with you at all, ever again in my life because that’s all you want and you don’t want to give me my son back,” Jenelle said.

Barbara threatened to limit Jenelle’s visitation with her son and Jenelle told MTV producers to stop being nice to her mother and called her a “b–tch.” The mom-of-three — who welcomed her daughter Ensley Jolie with her fiancé David Eason in January — offered insight into why she reacted the way she did on Twitter.

“If you guys only saw the texts messages between my mother and I. Shows a lot of truth to why I freak out on her so suddenly,” Jenelle explained. “My feelings are extremely hurt and this is why I do not attend the live shows. My mentality is very important for my three children.”
