‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Amber Portwood and Matt Baier Hint at Shotgun Wedding
Are congratulations in order?!
Teen Mom OG star Matt Baier took to Instagram to hint that he and Amber Portwood are having a shotgun wedding in Las Vegas.

He posted a picture of sign that read “Going to the chapel and we’re gonna get married!” which he spiced up with the caption, “Off to Vegas in the morning. Everyone have a nice weekend.”
Uh, WHAT?!
The news of a wedding wouldn’t come as a total surprise considering the two have been engaged since November of 2014. Though they were planning a wedding for last October — the same month as her Teen Mom OG costar Maci Bookout and Teen Mom 2’s Chelsea Houska tied the knot — Amber later called off the affair when she learned her future husband was not being totally upfront about his past, including the number of children he previously fathered and the revelation that he hit on her cast mate Farrah Abraham via Twitter before connecting with the Indiana native.

“Everything got thrown on the back burner when stuff happened,” Amber confessed in an interview with People last August. “But you’ll see us working through certain things together and you’ll see us talking about marriage and what we’re going to do.”
Since canceling the wedding, the 26-year-old — who is mom to eight-year-old Leah with ex Gary Shirley — has made her clear that she had every intention to marry her beau, and has stood by him through thick and thin.
Amber and Farrah got in a brawl when Farrah’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Simon Saran labeled Matt a “pedophile” at a Teen Mom OG reunion that taped last fall.

Not only did she quit the show over “disrespect,” but she also defended her man after it was revealed he hit on Farrah and Jenelle Evans before he started dating Amber — despite the fact that he previously told her he was unfamiliar with her reality TV show!
“Do I care? Not really, because this was all before [Matt and I] even started talking,” she told Cosmo last fall. “I’m not really mad about it or anything because I’ve been with the man for over two years, and we have a really good life together. There’s no doubt in anybody’s mind that this man loves me.”
