Laura Benanti Welcomes Baby No. 1 With Husband Patrick Brown
Congratulations are in order for Laura Benanti and Patrick Brown!
The Supergirl star and her husband welcomed their first child together on Feb. 14 — a baby girl.
“Laura gave birth to a healthy and beautiful baby girl at 3:33 p.m. eastern this afternoon. Baby and mom are doing great!” her rep confirmed to E! News on Tuesday.
The couple wed in 2015 and announced their pregnancy in August with this adorable announcement.
“Patrick and I doing some light summer reading. Coming this winter…#BabyGirlBrown!!!” she wrote at the time.
Laura and Patrick have also been open about the unfortunate miscarriage they suffered before welcoming baby No. 1.

“After this happened to me, I spoke with women I felt relatively close to, who had experienced the same thing, and I had never even known. The most common response I was given after telling someone I had just experienced the big M was, ‘This is SO common. This happens to SO many women,'” she wrote in a piece via [The Huffington Post](http://www.huffingtonpost.com/laura-benanti/my-experience-with-the-voldemort-of-womens-health-issuesb8209092.html).
“It seems to me that we, as a culture, haven’t quite learned how to broach this painful subject. My hope is that talking about it in an open forum can be healing in some small way. Sometimes it can be helpful to know that someone out there has felt the same pain as you, and that they are holding you in their heart.”
The happy couple has yet to release a photo of their new daughter and share her name.
The Broadway vet was previously married to singer Chris Barron from 2005-2006, then tied the knot a second time with Rescue Me star Steven Pasquale from 2007-2013.
We are so beyond excited for this growing family — especially after everything they’ve been through with their miscarriage.
