‘Flip or Flop’ Stars Tarek and Christina El Moussa Make First Joint Appearance Since Divorce Filing
Talk about awkward!
Flip or Flop stars Christina and Tarek El Moussa made their first ever joint public appearance since they announced their divorce last December — and the exes seemed to be getting along amicably! They put their personal issues aside to make speeches during the 2017 Investor Summit in Las Vegas on Friday.
Tarek posted a photo of himself and his estranged wife onstage, and Christina smiled at her soon-to-be ex-husband while he addressed their audience.
“Me and Christina on the big stage having fun and teaching folks how to flip houses!!” the 35-year-old wrote in the caption, adding the hashtags “#GoodTimes” and “#LoveSpeakingTogether.”

Christina, 33, also shared a photo from the “fun event,” where she stood next to Tarek while they posed with some of their students.
Fans of the couple’s hit HGTV house-flipping series were shocked when Tarek and Christina announced their divorce. The seemingly happy couple had been married for seven years and they even share two children together — 6-year-old daughter Taylor and 16-month-old son Brayden, but there were multiple factors that lead to their split.

Tarek and Christina were involved in a heated fight last May, when he caught his wife texting another man — Gary Anderson, a contractor who the El Moussas hired to work on their pool. Since they announced their divorce, Christina confirmed her relationship with Gary, and he seems to have played a role in their breakup.
Sources also exclusively revealed to In Touch that Tarek was verbally abusive towards his wife prior to their split, and he would take out his frustrations on her while filming Flip or Flop.
“Tarek found humor in humiliating his wife in repeated verbal attacks,” the source told In Touch. “Some of his bad behavior was even caught on camera [in footage that never aired]. Tarek called Christina a ‘whore’ on set many times.”
