George and Amal Clooney Expecting Twins: Couple Is Already Choosing Godparents (EXCLUSIVE)

The parents-to-be are expecting twins — a boy and a girl! — and In Touch can exclusively reveal the couple is already picking their children’s godparents.

Shortly after George chose the name of his little boy — Amal will be picking the girl’s name —a source revealed the couple is choosing the godparents the same way they chose their little ones’ monikers.

“Amal will pick the godmothers,” said the insider, adding that one godparent will “definitely” be her sister, Tala Alamuddin. “For godfathers, George’s choices are his longtime pal Richard Kind and his producing partner, Grant Heslov.”

“He’s also considering his BFF and business partner Rande Gerber. No matter who they pick, these babies are going to have the best life ever.”

The couple certainly deserves the well wishes, as they’ve previously had trouble conceiving naturally. According to the insider, Amal and George “had been trying for a baby all summer,” and recently resorted to IVF treatments.

Unfortunately, the choice wasn’t an easy one to make, “George has never had trouble doing anything in his life,” the source added. “Plus, Amal is afraid of needles, so her biggest fear was getting the hormone injections.”

“They can’t believe in just a few months they’re going to have two babies,” the insider said. “They’re having so much fun looking at all the latest baby gadgets and getting everything ready for the twins. They’re going to be such amazing parents.”
