Mario Lopez's home sustained major damage following a torrential rainstorm that moved through southern California this week.

The Extra host took to Instagram to show fans the serious backyard damage on his property as a result of the rain and floods. The 43-year-old star's backyard had collapsed and the hillside had fallen after mudslides.

"Well… My yard collapsed into the street below. No Bocce for a while," the star shared on Instagram. "So because of the rain, half my yard is in the street."

"No showers for a while," his wife, Courtney Mazza, added.

"So, this is my yard today after City Public Works worked all night," the star wrote, showing a snapshot of his backyard early the following morning. "Street below me is completely blocked. Guess the kids aren't playing outside… #CasaLopezIsWounded."

The California rainstorms have ravaged the West Coast for the past several days, destroying properties and leaving at least four people dead.

Luckily, the Lopez family was safe, but the damage to the home was serious. The father-of-two shared an update the following morning with fans.

"So this is how it looks after public city worked all night to get the debris out of the street," he says in the video. "It was literally covering this whole block and my guys right here are moving the debris completely out of here. We've got a lot of trees, a lot of concrete, and dirt, the drain, so we have to get it all out of here."

While his family was thankfully safe, the star managed to keep things light during the tough times, nothing that his backyard activities would be put on pause for the time being.

"Thank god my kids were not playing in the yard and no one got hurt," he added. "But no more bocce for a while, that sucks."
