Abby Lee Miller, the Dance Moms star who pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and failure to report thousands of dollars in foreign currency on June 27, will be sentenced on Oct. 11 — and her former costars are telling In Touch exactly how they feel about Abby finding herself behind bars.

“I’ll be so glad if she goes to prison. She’d be getting what she deserves,” Mitchell Finke, a choreographer who appeared on Dance Moms, explains.

Mitchell adds that some of Abby’s former employees and students have distanced themselves from the instructor since she was accused of hiding income from her show and asking friends to help smuggle $112,000 into the U.S. from Australia.

And Cathy Nesbitt-Stein, owner of rival studio Candy Apple’s Dance Center, doubts Abby is even remorseful. “She’s like the thief who’s not sad that he stole, but awfully sad that he got caught,” she says. “But no matter how rough-and-tumble she projects herself to be, she’s probably very scared.”

That’s an understatement, a source claims. “She can’t even talk about being locked up without hyperventilating,” the insider says of the 49-year-old, who is praying for sympathy from the judge.
