Tiger Woods' Dating History: Elin Nordegren, Erica Herman, More

Tiger Woods is no stranger to headlines about his love life. The 15-time major championship winner went through a six-week treatment program for sex addiction in 2010 after it was reported he had multiple affairs, leading to the end of his marriage to model Elin Nordegren.

After Woods and Nordegren finalized their divorce in 2010, Woods announced in 2013 that he was in a relationship with Olympian Lindsey Vonn; however, the pair split in 2015.

Most recently, Woods was in a relationship with restaurant manager Erica Herman. However, after their split, Herman filed a lawsuit against Woods in relation to an NDA, alleging that it violated the Speak Out Act, which allows for NDAs to be nullified due to sexual assault or harassment. Herman claimed she was owed $30 million after an oral agreement was breached. (Woods denied the allegations, and the suit was eventually dropped.)

LeAnn Rimes

In 2010, it was reported that the golf legend was once linked to the “How Do I Live” singer, according to Us Weekly. At the time, a source told the publication that he and the musician “went out a few times” before she married Dean Sheremet (whom she later divorced in 2010 before marrying Eddie Cibrian). In April 2019, Rimes shared a photo of the two on her official Facebook page, writing, “In honor of The Masters… #flashbackfriday to one of my fantastic hair choices LOL 😂 Tiger Woods #fbf #flashback #themasters2019 #tigerwoods.”

Elin Nordegren

Woods met the former swimsuit model in 2001, and they married three years later on October 5, 2004, during a private sunset ceremony in Barbados. The couple expanded their family in 2007 with the addition of daughter Sam Alexis; and in 2009, Nordegren gave birth to son Charlie Axel. That year, however, reports surfaced claiming Woods had been unfaithful in his marriage. In response, Woods explained, “I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect.” After their divorce, Nordegren opened up to People and revealed she had no idea about the affairs, stating, “I’m so embarrassed that I never suspected — not a one.” She added, “I loved him, we had so much fun, and I felt safe with him. Our wedding day was one of the happiest days of my life.” These days, the former couple remains amicable as they coparent their children (Nordegren also shares children Zeta, Freya and Arthur with retired NFL tight end Jordan Cameron, according to People).

Rachel Uchitel

The nightclub manager, hostess and TV correspondent became a household name after reports surfaced that alleged she had an affair with the pro golfer, though she denied the claims at the time. Uchitel later appeared in Tiger, the 2021 HBO documentary about the downfall and comeback of Woods, to speak about the scandal for the first time in over a decade. “I have been silent for over a decade now, and I felt that it was really important to me to speak only once in my life because I have spent all these years letting people think what they want to think and say what they want to say,” she told Extra in an interview ahead of the documentary. “I needed to take the shackles off and be able to tell my story for me.”

Lindsey Vonn

Woods and the former World Cup alpine ski racer met at a charity event in spring 2012. Following rumors that they were in a relationship, the couple went public in March 2013, with respective statements. “Something nice that’s happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating,” Woods wrote. “We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.” In May 2015, however, the pair split. “After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart,” Vonn wrote in a Facebook statement.

Kristin Smith

Woods was linked to the Texas-based wardrobe stylist in 2016, though he did not address their relationship when they were dating. However, after an article was published that claimed they were still together during Woods’ May 2017 DUI arrest (he pleaded guilty to reckless driving, agreed to undergo a probation diversionary program and pay a fine), the athlete denied the rumors on X (formerly Twitter) — but appeared to confirm the relationship. “Contrary to the false Daily Mail article, Kristin Smith and I are no longer dating and haven’t since last year,” he wrote at the time. In April 2018, TMZ reported that Smith was in arbitration over a previous non-disclosure agreement.

Erica Herman

Between late 2017 and late 2022, Woods was in a relationship with the restaurant manager; they stepped out publicly for the first time at the President’s Cup in September 2017 and made their relationship Instagram official shortly thereafter with a photo of them at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles for a World Series game. Though Herman was there for Woods in February 2021 as he recovered following a single-car crash that left him with several leg injuries, they eventually went their separate ways in fall 2022, and things began to get messy. Herman filed court documents to nullify the NDA that she signed when they first started dating, citing the Speak Out Act, which “prohibits the judicial enforceability of a nondisclosure clause or nondisparagement clause agreed to before a dispute arises involving sexual assault or sexual harassment in violation of federal, tribal, or state law,” according to documents obtained by Us Weekly. Woods denied her claims, and by July 2023, she dropped the suit.
