Charlie who? When In Touch caught up with Chuck Lorre on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards on Sept. 23, the Two and A Half Men executive producer had only good things to say about Charlie Sheen’s replacement on the top-ranking CBS show. “He's a real pro and he's fun to work with,” Chuck tells In Touch of Ashton Kutcher. “It became very easy, very quickly.”
As for the rumors this will be the show’s last season? Not on my watch, says the TV veteran. “As long as I think that we're doing good work, I'd love to see it continue,” says Chuck. “I love the show, and we're having a great time.”
Meanwhile Ashton’s co-star Jon Cryer — who took home the Lead Actor in a Comedy Emmy — says it’s impossible to compare his current and former co-star. “With Charlie, it was very automatic,” Jon tells In Touch. “With Ashton, we rehearse a little more. Show nights go incredibly fast now. It's a blast!”
Guess that’s what Charlie would call, “Winning!”
