“Autumn” came early this year for Starship Troopers star Jake Busey and his fiancée, April Hutchison — and the new parents couldn't be happier.
“On July 30, at 10:04 p.m., April and I welcomed a beautiful baby girl, who we named Autumn Rosalia Busey,” the proud father told Life & Style in an exclusive interview, adding that Autumn's unusual middle name has been in the Busey family for generations. “Rosalia is my grandmother’s name — my mother's mother," says Jake, whose dad is actor Gary Busey.
Brunette Autumn, who weighed in at 8 pounds, 12 ounces, was something of an engagement present for April and Jake. Two weeks after Jake popped the question, April learned she was pregnant. "This has been a wonderful surprise for us," Jake says. "We're overjoyed and feel blessed to have this baby girl come into our lives."
