She’s a mom, wife, entrepreneur and author, but Jessica Alba was an actress before she was anything else— and she just finished her greatest flick yet.
“I just finished the best movie I’ve ever done,” she tells Net-a-Porter of filming the Sin City sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
The star, 31, who started her career at age 12, is reprising her role as exotic dancer Nancy Callahan for the anticipated sequel to the 2005 film, which also starred Clive Owen, Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke.
Jessica, who has daughters Honor, 4, and Haven, 1, with her husband, Cash Warren, says her acting technique has changed since becoming a mom— especially for this film.

“It was so opposite to what I do [at home]. My approach to acting now is so different— I’m fearless because I have nothing to lose,” the mother of two says. “Before [children] my identity was wrapped up in every decision – now, I don’t care.”
Earlier this year, the brunette beauty admitted that fans are in for a treat this time around, as she “had to learn a bunch of dance sequences for it,” admitting she shows off a lot more moves in this flick than in the original.
But when it comes down to it, the A-lister just wants fans to know one thing about Sin City 2: you’re allowed to hate it.
“It could be a pile of s--t and you could think it was the worst thing you ever saw, but I still had the best experience,” she says.
