You know her as the cheeky brunette from Chelsea Lately, but there’s a whole lot more hilarity to Heather McDonald than her TV ‘tude— and her new book gives fans a play-by-play.
“Funny stories that kind of stand alone, but yet they are about how I have a very inappropriate life working on Chelsea Lately, yet I have this very traditional life at home,” Heather describes her new book, My Inappropriate Life: Some Material Not Suitable for Small Children, Nuns or Mature Adults. She adds, “The worlds often times collide.”
Heather— who has been working as a full-time writer at Chelsea for 5 years—is best known for her comedy sketches and hysterical roundtable sessions with the show’s host Chelsea Handler and several other comedians.
But that’s not all! Her first book, You’ll Never Blue Ball In This Town Again: One Woman’s Painfully Funny Quest to Give It Up was a New York Times best seller in 2010.
The star hopes her new title will do the same. “I love the book, and everyone that’s read it really is loving it and telling me how funny it is,” she said. “That’s the best gift of all.”
And the E! actress will get to meet tons of her biggest fans tonight at Pages Bookstore in Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles, where she’s planning on appearing at 7 p.m. to promote her new book.
