Taylor Swift won five awards the Teen Choice Awards, on Sunday, July 22 on FOX
You could call her the hostess with the mostest. Not only did Demi Lovato co-host the Teen Choice Awards alongside Glee’s Kevin McHale, the X Factor judge juggled two surfboard-shaped trophies and three outfit changes at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif., on July 22.
The night’s other big winners included Taylor Swift (whose five-award haul included Choice Female Artist and Choice Female Country Artist), Zac Efron (who nabbed Choice Movie Actor: Drama and Choice Movie: Drama), Ian Somerhalder and Miley Cyrus (Choice hotties), Selena Gomez (who celebrated her 20th birthday in addition to a Choice Music Group win), Selena’s BF Justin Bieber (who also took home four awards), and Twilight co-stars Kristen Stewart (Ultimate Choice Award) and Taylor Lautner (Choice Movie Actor: Action).
Before the show, Rebecca Black told In Touch she was most excited to see Carly Rae Jepsen perform. “Because, I mean, who is not singing ‘Call Me Maybe’?”
Meanwhile, Chris Colfer already has his eye on the Emmys, telling In Touch of his Glee castmate Dot-Marie Jones, “We’re so excited for her nomination. She’s just our big mama, so anything she gets we’re always excited for her!”
