Don’t worry, ladies… David Beckham’s body parts— particularly his crotch and butt— are all his own.
After the chiseled soccer player wore nothing but dripping-wet boxer briefs in a recent Guy Ritchie-directed H&M commercial, women all over the world were left wondering if his goods were the real deal.
“I can say the crotch is mine and the backside is mine as well,” the 37-year-old said on French TV show Le Grand Journal on Feb.28. “I heard this the other day. Someone said that I had a stand-in for my bum, but no, I can confirm that’s my bum.”
Cue simultaneous sighs of relief.
In the commercial, David is seen chasing after his robe, which got caught in a Range Rover in the beginning of the ad. As the video plays on, kids are seen inside the vehicle being driven by a woman — David’s kids and wife Victoria, perhaps?
The heartthrob faces many obstacles as he tries to catch up to the car. From losing his shirt in bushes and swimming in a pool (you won't want to miss this scene) to the HILARIOUS ending (we don’t want to spoil it for you!), we think Guy and David make one amazing team.
