Images from the star’s first pregnancy photo shoot have finally been revealed, and the expectant star looks absolutely radiant.
Kanye West’s girlfriend transformed into a tropical princess for DuJour magazine’s third-ever issue, where a multi-page editorial became an 18-page portfolio of stunning snapshots and quotes. Kim wore flowers in her braided hair as she posed in little makeup for photos taken by Bruce Weber, who likened her beauty to that of a late Elizabeth Taylor.

“I didn’t know Kim loved Elizabeth Taylor before we met, but I imagined she would,” Bruce said of his muse. “The great thing about Kim is that she’s so strong and independent, but she also makes you want to take care of her. Working with her made me really miss Elizabeth.”
The shoot was done at Bruce’s Miami home in January, just after Kim announced her pregnancy. She wasn’t showing any signs of a baby bump in the photos, but it was, in fact, Kim’s first post-announcement shoot: one that focused less on fashion and more on inner beauty.

“It was about showing her in more a natural way,” DuJour co-editor Keith Pollock said of the shoot. “We went really minimal with makeup.”
And while Kim wore several stunning numbers for the pictorial, including a bra top and bikini bottom with a sarong, a tropical skirt, a long silk slip, cross-back dress and silk pajama set, the star has become quite accustomed to dressing for her curvy body, sticking to ensembles that are form-fitting.

“I think because I have big boobs it could make me look heavier if I don’t, like, show off my waist or something, so I just have kind of learned to dress one way only,” she says. “Khloé can wear flowy, pretty things because she’s really tall. Kourtney is, like, really little. I’m just kind of in between, so it doesn’t really work.”
