Anne Hathway can take a page out of Gwyneth Paltrow’s playbook!
Anne— who learned a valuable lesson about not wearing a bra, when her nipples stole the show at the Feb. 24 2013 Oscars (pic below) — should take a word of advice from Gwyneth, who made the same mistake back in 2002.
The Avengers actress is now speaking out about her fashion faux pas, regretting the fact that she opted to go braless with her Alexander McQueen number back in the day.
"There were a few issues; I still love the dress itself but I should have worn a bra and I should have just had simple beachy hair and less makeup,” she admits of her red carpet look. “Then, it would have worked as I wanted it to — a little bit of punk at the Oscars."
And now that the A-lister has recruited some help for her big nights out, she’s confident she'll step in front of the cameras with way more elegance…and way less sagging.
"I have to say that since I started working with stylist Elizabeth Saltzman and have put my red carpet looks in her hands, I think they are all pretty maje," Gwyn said. "I can say this because I have just about nothing to do with it. Standouts for me are the pink Prada dress at the 2011 Venice Film Festival, and of course the white Tom Ford from the Oscars last year."
While Anne did admit that she was forced to forgo her Valentino gown for the infamous Prada number due to the fact that Amanda Seyfried was wearing an all-too-similar dress, it couldn’t hurt for her to have a little bit of supervision next time around.
Perhaps Gwyn’s stylist should head on over to the Hathaway household come time for the 2014 Academy Awards?
