Why Was Vanessa Seen With Kobe Bryant?

Vanessa Bryant publically announced that she was filing for divorce from her Lakers player husband, Kobe Bryant, after 10 years of marriage back in December. Now, however, after a very public kiss on Valentine's Day, they could possibly be reconciling.

The two were married in April 2001 and even underwent a re-comittment ceremony in 2005. Vanessa cited "irreconciable differences" as the reason for divorce when she filed, but it's no secret that Kobe allegedly committed adultery numerous times throughout their relationship, and a source told TMZ, "The latest affair was the straw that broke the camel's back." Arianne Cohen, author of The Sex Diaries Project: What We're Saying About What We're Doing (sexdiariesproject.com), tells In Touch, "After Kobe's inital indescretion ten years ago, Vanessa chose to take him back and work on their marriage."

There is not one way to deal with a breakup and many couples change their minds. "Since then they both have clearly agreed on at least one thing: keeping their marriage private. As far as their recent smooch goes, she adds, "Few seperations are clean and straightforward, especially after ten years and two daughters. I say kudos to her for keeping a potentially very messy, public situation amicable."
