Disney Stars, Making Babies!

duff1_wide.jpg
When 23-year-old actress Hilary Duff announced last week that she and her hockey-playing husband, Mike Comrie, 30, were expecting a baby, fans weren’t exactly stunned, although it did make them feel old. Yes, Hilary isn’t too far from her tween-star days, but she is, after all, a married woman. (The fact that Hilary’s pregnancy caused her to lose the lead role in a planned remake of The Story of Bonnie and Clyde was, for some, just icing on the cake.)

But the news that Brenda Song, 23, a former star of The Suite Life series, is also knocked up — and that she’ll be bearing the child of Miley Cyrus’ big brother, Metro Station singer Trace Cyrus, 22 —pretty much caused that same post-Disney constituency to lose their heads. “There goes my childhood,” was a common refrain on Twitter, where both Brenda’s and Trace’s names continue to trend.

What these former Disney stars would do well to realize is that these things tend to come in threes. So, who’ll be the next ex-Disney star to spawn? While we think that Selena Gomez, 19, and her boyfriend Justin Bieber, 17, would likely produce the cutest (and most precociously talented) little one, those two seem a bit too careful . . . and too interested in keeping their sterling reputations. Demi Lovato, 19, seems a bit more at-risk, courtesy of her rumored recent dalliance with serial baby-maker Ryan Phillippe. And, at 26, Ashley Tisdale is a more age-appropriate possibility, but she’s worked too darn hard to get those rock-hard abs. So, our money is on Kevin Jonas, 23, who’s been open about his desire to get going on a family with his wife Danielle Deleasa. The real question? Which of these next-generation Disney babies will be the first to get their own show on the channel, around about 2023?

Stars Without Makeup!
If you long to see your favorite stars without makeup, here’s your chance! Jennifer Love Hewitt says she doesn’t mind being seen without it: “I don’t want to dress up for everything.” Hilary Swank is more of a tomboy than a girlie girl, so when she does get gussied up, her overall makeup style is still subtle.

Britney Spears’ Dramatic First Week Of Work
As they waited for Britney Spears to take the stage at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, for her first appearance as an X Factor judge, fans were understandably nervous. Weeks earlier, the emotionally fragile star had looked tense and exhausted at appearances to promote the show in NYC. But they had nothing to worry about, because according to a witness, the embattled star “got the biggest applause of any of the judges.”

Kendra Wilkinson: “I’m Scared To Have Another Baby”
For some moms, the decision to have a second baby is a no-brainer. For Kendra Wilkinson, who welcomed her first child with husband Hank Baskett two years ago, the choice isn’t quite so simple. After struggling with postpartum depression following Hank Jr.’s birth in December 2009, the reality star reveals she’s terrified to relive the intense pain and sadness she experienced. “I was living under a gray cloud and had lost who I was,” Kendra, 26, tells In Touch in an exclusive interview.

Anne Hathaway Haunted By Her Ex
Anne Hathaway should be on top of the world: She’s planning her wedding to fiancé Adam Shulman and just finished shooting the big-screen version of the beloved musical Les Misérables. But dining with pals on May 21, the 29-year old actress looked pretty miserable herself. “Anne didn’t touch her food,” says an onlooker. “She seemed really upset.” Four days later, her con man ex, Raffaello Follieri, 34, made headlines when he was released from prison and immediately deported to his native Italy.
