Padma on motherhood: “It puts everything into perspective”

PadmaLakshmi0319.jpg She’s rumored to be in the midst of a feud with reported baby daddy Adam Dell, but a glowing Padma Lakshmi was all smiles when gushing about her 1-month-old daughter, Krishna, at the Pampers Swaddlers and Cruisers with Dry Max Official Launch in New York. “She’s very witty already, and she’s very funny. She makes all these faces! She’s very beautiful, but she’s also got a little spunk to her,” Padma told In Touch at the March 18 baby-friendly event. Despite juggling her career with a newborn, the Top Chef host and Padma Jewelry designer is taking the chaos in stride. “It’s hard, but it also puts everything into perspective. I don’t get upset about things that I used to get upset about. If she doesn’t eat, then that upsets me way more than if our sales figures are low,” she added of single motherhood. Padma is reportedly in disagreement over her baby’s visitations with businessman Adam Dell.
