Heidi Montag's latest stunt: A baby for publicity

Just a few weeks ago, Heidi Montag admitted to the world that she’s obsessed with plastic surgery — unveiling her new “upgraded” looks after undergoing 10 invasive procedures in a single day. But now In Touch can reveal that Heidi’s friends and family are worried that she has a far more serious addiction: fame. “Heidi craves the spotlight,” says a friend of hers. “Her drive is more about stardom than money or anything else.” According to the friend, every time Heidi drops out of the headlines, she panics and drums up a publicity stunt. But her latest plan has loved ones bewildered. “Heidi wants to have a baby. She also knows it will probably generate a lot of attention,” reveals the friend, who adds that Heidi and her husband, Spencer Pratt, have already started trying to conceive. “It seems like she’ll do anything to stay relevant.”
