No ring just yet for Nick and Vanessa

NickVanessa0208.jpg He may be Vanessa Minnillo’s biggest fan, but don’t expect Nick Lachey to propose to his longtime love because his favorite team, the New Orleans Saints, won the Super Bowl. “You’re not going to get me to pull a Kim Kardashian promise!” Nick laughed to In Touch, referring to rumors that Saints star Reggie Bush would ask for girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s hand in marriage if he triumphed in the big game, at the Super Skins Kick-Off Party in Miami’s Hotel 944 on February 4. When asked when he was planning to get down on one knee, Nick wouldn’t spill any secrets. “Not tonight!” he added. One topic that the singer was happy to discuss was his annual golf tournament with pal Jimmie Johnson, which benefited the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. “We have the opportunity to keep that issue out there and keep it in the forefront so people don’t forget, and that’s really important,” a big-hearted Nick said of the Haitian earthquake disaster.
