Michael Jackson’s doc in hot water
Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson’s personal physician, pleaded not guilty February 8 to involuntary manslaughter. A California judge released him on $75,000 bail until April 5, when another date will be set for his preliminary hearing, where prosecutors will present their evidence of Murray's alleged "gross negligence” in the pop singer’s overdose death in June 2009. The judge also restricted Murray’s medical practice, barring him from using any anesthetic, specifically the drug Propofol. A coroner's report found Propofol was the cause of Jackson's death with other drugs as contributing factors.
