Ryan's stalker pleads not guilty

The man accused of stalking
Ryan Seacrest has pleaded not guilty. Chidi Uzomah Jr., a special forces member of the Army Reserve, was caught armed with a knife at the
American Idol host's office on October 30 and was later charged with a felony count of stalking and two misdemeanor counts of violating a court order. Yesterday, the 25-year-old entered a plea of not guilty inside a Los Angeles courtroom, while Ryan received a protective order against Uzomah, which bans him from going within 500 yards of Ryan and from attempting to call him for three years. His bail was set at $150,000, and he's due back in court on November 16. If convicted, Uzomah — who had pleaded guilty to three misdemeanors in September after choking one of Ryan's bodyguards — faces a maximum of four years behind bars.
