Jennifer Hudson's heading back to the big screen

JenniferHudson1118.jpg A year after the horrific murders of her mother, brother and nephew, Jennifer Hudson's life is really back on track. In August, she and fiancé David Otunga welcomed their first child, David. And now the former American Idol contestant-turned-Oscar winner is throwing herself into film once again. Jennifer will tackle the role of Nelson Mandela's former wife, Winnie, when production on the movie Winnie begins next spring. "I was compelled and moved when I read the script," says Jennifer. "Winnie Mandela is a complex and extraordinary woman, and I'm honored to be the actress asked to portray her. This is a powerful part of history that should be told."
