Aaron says goodbye to Dancing With the Stars

DWTS1111.jpg Aaron Carter reluctantly bid farewell to Dancing With the Stars last night. Despite receiving a respectable 23 for his foxtrot and 27 for his samba, the combined judges score of 50 was not enough to carry him through to the semifinals. "Every day there was a new lesson," a disappointed Aaron told In Touch afterward. "I learned and I might not have gotten it then, but I got it afterwards and I've got it now." For those who watched him they see a changed man leaving the dance floor. And judge Carrie Ann Inaba was not the only one who noticed Aaron's transformation from boy to man. In a tearful moment, the usually cranky judge Len Goodman also gave Aaron some beautiful parting words - a show first. "I was shocked," revealed Aaron. Next week's performance show moves into overdrive as this season enters it's semifinal round.

Looking back at your performances, are you impressed by what you accomplished?
Aaron: There were some I looked back on and thought were pretty cool.

How did you feel about the show highlighting your emotional side by showing all those clips of you getting upset?
Aaron: It is what it is, it was funny and very entertaining. Overall, it was a good results show tonight.

As his partner, how proud are you of Aaron and what he did on the show?
Karina: So proud! I couldn't have asked for a better partner. We definitely learned together throughout this experience and we'll have many, many, beautiful memories. Even when we had our downs.
Aaron: Now we look at them and they are beautiful experiences, but then - no! Yeah, now they are funny. We were like an old married couple.

And Len had some nice parting words for you - how did you feel about that?
Karina: That has never been done before.
Aaron: I was shocked and had no idea how much this meant to me. I had no idea how much I really learned till right there on that spot!

And today is a big day for you. What's happening?
Aaron: My new single "Dance With Me," featuring Flo Rida, is out and I am being rewarded for all the charitable work I do for kids. That is amazing and incredible and I am not going to ever stop ever giving back to the children of the world who are in need of young adult motivators. I have been through ups and downs and all kinds of problems in my life and I am here today. I am here, I am sober and I am happy. It's important for me to enlighten what I have been through, and if I can do it you can do it.

Will you continue to dance, other than in music videos?
Aaron: Of course, I love to dance. I learned so much technique from Karina about dancing and that is amazing. I am going to be so hard on myself in the studio rehearsing. I'll probably have to call in Karina because anyone else is going to suck.

Maybe you could re-team for a music video?
Aaron: We'll have to see. It's all up to her as she is still the boss.
Karina: Of course I'd do it!
