Mischa moves on

MischaBarton1021.jpg Her much-hyped return to TV was a flop, but Mischa Barton isn’t dwelling on the disappointment. “I’m changing course and what I feel like doing is a really interesting young woman’s role. I’m keeping my options open!” the optimistic actress, whose CW series The Beautiful Life was canceled after just two episodes last month, told In Touch about her career at the Whitney Museum Gala in New York on October 19. While Mischa ponders the next step in her professional life, she is keeping busy- with help from her best pals. “I’m just trying to go to the gym with my girlfriends and have fun!” she added. The starlet found fame on the teen drama The O.C., but her character was killed off the series in 2006.
