Hayden on her girl-on-girl kiss: "It's very exciting!"

As rumors have suggested for months, Hayden Panettiere's character, superpowered cheerleader Claire, will dabble in some same-sex experimentation on this season of Heroes. The 20-year-old-actress’ highly anticipated makeout will be airing on tonight's episode, when bi-curious Claire discovers that her roommate, played by Californication's Madeline Zima, has a hidden agenda. "It's very exciting!" Hayden told In Touch when asked about the sexy smooch with Madeline at the 6th Annual Hollywood Style Awards in LA on October 11. “When you are young, you experiment and you have fun. It truly is a person that she just falls in love with, because she fulfills her and she is her best friend and confidante." Certainly exciting her admirers, Hayden has hinted that she has engaged in some off-screen same-sex smooching, as well. "It's great to have boyfriends. Or girlfriends. There are occasions when you kiss your best friend growing up, having fun and goofing about. Like perfecting your technique!" she confessed to U.K.'s Glamour magazine last year.
