Brian Littrell bounces back from swine flu

BrianLittrell1016.jpg Just a week after catching the swine flu, Backstreet Boys’ Brian Littrell is back to work! “I was pretty freaked out,” the singer admitted of his diagnosis at Los Premios, the Latin MTV Video Music Awards, in LA on October 15. The infamous illness hit Brian just one day before the release of the boy band’s new album, This is Us. “We had to cancel a bunch of press. It was disappointing,” Brian added. The rest of the group — Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and AJ McLean — were prescribed Tamiflu as a preventative medication and didn’t hang around their H1N1-stricken pal. “I had to stay in New York and was confined to my hotel room. They all left me and went to LA. I was like, ‘Thanks guys, appreciate it,’ ” the now-healthy star joked.
