In Touch Exclusive:
Redmond O'Neal gets a TV deal
Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal’s troubled son, Redmond, will turn his struggles with addiction into a new reality show, In Touch has learned exclusively. “Redmond has signed the deal that was brokered for him by his dad,” says a friend. “Ryan will be on the show, too.” Filming will start in four months, when Redmond, 24, is set to be released from a California detention center, where he is undergoing intense treatment to kick his drug habit. “Redmond wants to do this to honor his mother. He really wants to get better to honor her memory,” says the pal, adding that Redmond will only receive his inheritance if he is sober. On the show, which has yet to be sold to a network, “Redmond will be followed by a trainer and a bodyguard who will try to help him get a job and have a real life,” the pal says.
