After Katherine Jackson was declared the temporary guardian of his children, Michael Jackson’s wishes for his beloved brood were revealed in a will on July 1. The 2002 document, presented by lawyer John Branca, named the late King of Pop’s mother as the primary guardian, followed by longtime friend Diana Ross should Katherine be “unwilling or able” to parent Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II ("Blanket"), 7. Despite Michael’s clear intentions, a custody case may follow. A former lawyer for Michael’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe claims that as Prince Michael and Paris’ mother, his client can gain legal custody.
