Jessica and Tony split just hours before her birthday party
After two years of dating, Jessica Simpson and boyfriend Tony Romo have split, an insider tells In Touch exclusively. The couple decided to go their separate ways after they fought the night prior to her 29th birthday party. "They had planned to have a Barbie and Ken-themed bash, but a couple hours before, everyone was called and told the party was canceled," a party guest tells In Touch. "I knew that they must have been having problems." And instead of a party, Tony showed up to Hollywood hotspot MyHouse that same night, surrounded by women. "He was drinking Grey Goose and having a blast. And there were several girls around him with no Jessica in sight," says an onlooker. According to the insider, the couple decided to go their separate ways because of work conflicts. In August, Jessica will be traveling around the world with her new reality show, The Price of Beauty, while Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony will be preparing for the upcoming football season. But Jessica seems to be in an optimistic mood. She Twittered Sunday night, "Everyone needs to know that hope floats ... grab the strings and pull it back to you."
