Ashlee Simpson is due any day and her dad, Joe Simpson, tells In Touch he can’t wait to meet his new grandson! “I am ready to be a granddad, there’s no doubt about it, but I am too young to be one!” Ashlee, who attended her baby shower on November 1, is anxious for the big day to come. “Her mother is with her all the time and I’m just holding everyone up,” said Joe at the BAFTAs in LA on November 6. “We stayed the night last night, and you can see she is ready to be a mama.” So what will Joe do to celebrate his new grandchild? “I’m going to light up a cigar!”
