They may be twins, but Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen couldn’t be more different when it comes to what they see for the future. “I don’t feel the need to get married,” Mary-Kate tells designer Karl Lagerfeld in their new coffee table book Influence. “But Ashley wants children. I’ll be a great aunt or godmother.” Ashley agrees, “To my child!” As for the twins’ decision to get separate apartments, they tell Oprah on today’s show that it was a good thing. “We’re sisters. We’re twins. We work together, and I think to live separately is just — it gives your space,” reveals Mary-Kate. “I mean, she lives a few blocks away, but it’s just, it’s nice ... To go home [alone].” Her twin says, “We’re with each other even after work. We should probably just be living together!”
